CDR provides facilitation, strategic planning, and grant management support to two of Colorado’s Outdoor Regional Partnerships: Summit County Outdoor Coalition (SCOC) and Spanish Peaks Outdoor Coalition (SPOC). As part of a broader state-supported initiative, these two groups were created as forums for deepening regional collaboration around conservation and outdoor recreation priorities identified by their respective local communities and stakeholders. CDR plans and facilitates discussions for these groups, convening a variety of local government teams, community-based organizations, and community leaders to identify common goals and opportunities for collaboration. CDR’s adept engagement and program management skills are helping coalition members establish appropriate governance structures, prioritize allocation of resources, divide responsibilities among partners, and pursue available grants. These groups’ programmatic efforts are opportunities to support vibrant recreation economies and environmental health in rural Colorado regions.
